The Landscape Challenge Committee has selected winners for 2026! Congratulations to Jenna Smalley and her husband Steven who live in Wentzville. Their yard is on a circle drive and has sidewalks to the area elementary school and they expect a lot of foot traffic. It is also in a relatively new subdivision and they hope to inspire neighbors to add natives to their yards. Jenna and Steven began their journey with native plants just last year and have already started a front yard garden which they will work to enhance and fill in. It has a southern exposure and will be great for some prairie type plants. They are also interested in growing plants for food and their backyard has raised vegetable beds, fruit trees, and more natives. Our member designer, Wendi Martin, of purplemartincoaching.com will work with Jenna and Steven to select the design and plants. Installation will be in September. Past winners can be found on our website. In October this year we will be visiting the garden we installed in 2023. Hope you can join us.
