Garden Gathering at Mary’s House
Mary’s front yard is very much the same as it was seven years ago when she moved from the woods to “town”—but wait until you see the back yard. Fountains and bird baths are numerous and positioned so you can see all the bird activity from the back windows. Mary seems to have brought the woods to town and her yard gets crammed full of natives more each year. Like most of us, Mary likes to see some color all year long in the garden, but by October you may be seeing a lot of seed pods. Highlighted at this time will be the 94 plant “woodland garden” that was installed this spring.
