On June 2 @ noon, join Deep Roots’ guest speaker Betsy Betros, Author, entomologist, and master naturalist for our first Lunch & Learn webinar to discuss why we should be INVITING insects into our yards, instead of killing them. Betsy is an author, entomologist, master naturalist, lover of nature, and bee and butterfly guru. She will help us understand why insects should be welcome guests all year long, and how we can make that happen in our own gardens, and maybe encourage others to do so as well.
Stephen VanRhein, Environmental Manager for KC Parks will join as a panelist to help answer our questions about the effects of broad pesticide applications in residential lawns and gardens.
